We are a small group of volunteers dedicated to promoting and supporting our lovely new library - opened in December 2024. Our mission is to support the library staff; raise funds and organise events. We usually meet monthly and welcome new members.

Unfortunately, Lancashire Library Services is still in the process of onboarding the staff they recently recruited to address a severe shortage across the county.

It is hoped normal service can be resumed by Christmas.

In the meantime, they have announced that Savick Library will be closed on the following dates:

Friday 21st November 2025
